during our first small group meeting in the first Friday of January

we did a new year resolution for our spiritual life as well as small group

one of the questions asked us how we could keep our bonding from each other

since most of our suggestions is about caring one another

our small group leader decided to set up a caring program

in this program

we all need to call at least one of the members (assigned) within this month

we hope we are able to get close between one another through this program

to be honest, it is a challenge for me when i first heard this suggestion

i rarely call someone besides my family

and i usually prefer to send message instead of calls when i reach someone…

however, i accept the challenge!

i cannot be such passive as always lol

i need to be more active

i would like to take a step forward and try to to show my care to my friends

in this month, i was assigned to call a sister who i rarely talk with

even though i didn’t know if there was any topic we could take when i made a call to her

i still decided to take an action last night

when she answered my call

she said it was a bit surprise to her lol

(she forgot we have this caring program lol)

within the following hour

we talked a lot….

and the topic went so randomly

we talked about the COVID, our work, daily life and ways to improve English skills etc.

after we ended our call

i suddenly thought we were so talkative although both of us are so quiet in small group

it is a good experience to me btw

thank you God for giving me a great time to gather with my friend despite over the phone

i hope when i make another call to someone else next month

i would be so talkative with my friends as well

今晚小組的破冰遊戲是玩狼殺

小組裡大部份弟兄姊妹都很喜歡玩這個遊戲

但我就一般般

不太懂得玩

而且我不會當壞人角色

很容易被人看出的 lol

沒想到我這次真的抽中要當狼人

不過因此第一次玩線上版

大家都花了很多時間去研究怎樣玩

如要怎樣投票、我當狼人要怎樣跟另一個當狼人的溝通

總之就是花了一段時間才摸清要怎樣玩

我沒想到跟我一起當狼人的弟兄會一開始就自爆自己是狼人

他很快就被踢出去了

只剩下我一個。。。

不過這樣比較方便

有趣的是沒想到我選要殺的玩家全都是普通角色的

當只剩最後下一位普通玩家還在時。。。

預言家查出我的身分了

也因為這樣我們壞蛋角色「臨尾香」

不過大家都在試玩沒有所謂呢～

原本打算玩第二輪

但無奈要註冊帳號至才登入

註冊帳號這裡也花了大家不少時間

因此我們最終只玩了一輪而已

不過有了這此經歷

下次如果再玩時

大家應該會更熟手吧～

as one of our sisters from our small group is going to move back to HK for good

we are planning to do a slideshow as a farewell gift to her

and I am asked to help create this slideshow

thank God~

there is a slideshow function in photos app

I didn’t need to put photos one by one myself

it saves me a lot of time

when the slideshow is created through Photos app

the only thing I did is to insert our clips into the slideshow

again, the whole process didn’t take much time

but saving the file took me a lot lol

each time after saving

I have to check if the video is good to do

sometimes it might corrupt….

thank God that I have such patience to work on this project

but I hope nothing would go wrong lol

didn’t want to go through the saving process again lol
